Acceptance of the Terms

By accessing or using the website, creating an account, submitting a form, replying to an RSVP or submitting a quote request, you confirm that you have read and accept these Terms.

If you do not agree, you must not use the features that require your acceptance.

What is Koufonisia Weddings?

Koufonisia Weddings is a digital guide and wedding planning platform featuring information about Koufonisia, tools for couples and guests, as well as the ability to connect with independent professionals and businesses.

The platform can facilitate the collection of enquiries, communication, the preparation of quotations and the sharing of information, subject to consent. It does not itself constitute the accommodation, the reception venue or the final provider of any individual service.

Couples’ Accounts and Wedding Websites

Couples can create their own wedding website and manage wedding details, guests, RSVPs, the programme, suggestions, photos, announcements and other available features.

• The information provided must be accurate and up to date.
• Login details and personal links must be kept secure.
• The couple are responsible for the content they choose to publish.
• The platform must not be used for misleading, unlawful or offensive content.

We may temporarily suspend or restrict access where necessary for security or maintenance reasons, or in the event of a breach of these Terms.

Guests, personal links and RSVP

Guests can use a shared or personal link to view wedding details, reply to the RSVP and make use of the available services.

All users must provide accurate details and refrain from submitting responses on behalf of a third party without the relevant authorisation.

Personal links should not be shared publicly if they contain personal or non-public information.

Enquiries and personalised offers

Visitors may request a quote for accommodation or other services. Submitting a request does not constitute a booking and is not binding on the visitor, Koufonisia Weddings or the partner.

The offer may include a price, dates, inclusions, a validity period and specific terms and conditions. Once it has expired, a new confirmation is required.

By selecting ‘I accept the offer’, the user indicates their intention to proceed and consents to the necessary contact details being shared with the partner. Acceptance does not constitute a definitive booking, unless this is expressly stated and has been confirmed by the partner.

Bookings, deposits and payments

Unless expressly stated otherwise, the final booking, the deposit, the payment in full and the issuing of receipts are carried out directly between the customer and the partner.

A booking is only considered complete once the partner has confirmed their acceptance and the financial or other conditions they have set have been met.

Before making any payment, the customer must check the payee’s identity, the amount, the reason for payment and the cancellation terms.

Independent contractors

The accommodation, reception venues, transport, wedding professionals and other businesses featured on the platform are, as a rule, independent providers.

Each partner is responsible for:

• The accuracy of its information, prices and availability.
• The quality, safety and lawful provision of its service.
• Its own booking, payment and cancellation policies.
• The issue of its legal documents.

Prices, additional charges and commissions

Submitting an enquiry and receiving support from Koufonisia Weddings does not incur any separate charge for the visitor, unless clearly stated otherwise before a specific service is accepted.

Where it states ‘the same rates as the accommodation’ or ‘no additional charges’, this means that no separate platform fee is added to the offer presented to the guest. The final price and any taxes, charges or mandatory surcharges must be confirmed in the offer or directly by the partner.

In certain partnerships, Koufonisia Weddings may receive a fee or commission from the partner, at no extra cost to the visitor.

Cancellations, changes and refunds

The terms and conditions regarding cancellation, date changes, no-shows and refunds of deposits are set by the partner and must be made clear before the booking is made.

Koufonisia Weddings can assist with communication, but cannot compel an independent partner to issue a refund or amend terms, beyond what is provided for by applicable law and the specific agreement.

Any statutory rights the consumer may have are not restricted by these Terms.

Photos, videos and user-generated content

Anyone who uploads text, an image, a video, a logo or any other material declares that they have the right to use it and that they are not infringing the rights of third parties.

The user grants the platform the limited licence necessary for the storage, technical processing and display of the content within the scope of the function they have selected.

We reserve the right to remove content that is unlawful, misleading, offensive or infringes the rights of third parties.

Permitted use of the platform

The following is not permitted:

• The breach or attempted circumvention of security measures.
• Automated data collection without written consent.
• Sending spam, malware or misleading requests.
• The use of another person’s personal data without permission.
• Copying the partner database, design or content for competitive purposes.
• Interference with the smooth operation of the website.

Intellectual and industrial property

The name, logo, design, software, text, databases and original content of the platform are protected by the applicable legislation.

Trademarks, photographs and material provided by partners are the property of their respective rights holders and are used with permission or for the agreed promotional purpose.

Availability and Limitation of Liability

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that the platform is available, secure and up to date. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, nor do we guarantee that any third-party information will always be complete or error-free.

To the extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for acts, omissions, delays, cancellations, accidents or the quality of services provided by independent contractors.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, nor does it affect consumers’ statutory rights.

Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by Greek law, subject to any mandatory consumer protection provisions that may apply depending on the user’s place of residence.

In the event of a dispute, the parties are asked first to seek an amicable resolution by contacting info@koufonisiaweddings.gr. The consumer retains the right to refer the matter to a competent alternative dispute resolution body or to the competent courts.

Amendments and Validity of the Terms

These Terms may be updated to reflect changes to the services, legislation or the way the platform operates. The latest version is published on this page, along with the date of the last update.

If any provision is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in force.
